The greens putt well and run true.
The course was in great condition for this time of the year. Had a great time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The carts were a bit slow though ,but they still traveled pretty well. I recommend this course to anybody in the area.
This was a fun course, I played it with my 10 year old son, we played it in 2:40. The course is well maintained and not expensive. Good course.
There are many mature trees along each fairway, this does a good job of not only defining the holes, but also making you play the way the course is designed to.
Beautiful place for a golf game and relaxation time
Staff is not even mediocre
Riverview Park Golf Course is built on a basically flat area of the county. Despite its lack of elevation change, the course has lots of well positioned mounding that makes you forget this. It is also a short course, only 6100 yards from the back tees, but the course does have quite a few dog-legs that make positioning very important. Many holes, a driver is not needed as the position of the 2nd shot, and hence your approach to the green is much easier from the correct position. This is a course that you need to play from the green backwards. Figure out where the best approach is, then hit your drive to there.
There are a few short par 4's that offer some risk/reward. They are reachable for a long hitter, #10 is even down-hill, but each are well protected with bunkers. In addition, the greens are not overly large, and are well contoured to repel shots that are not well struck.
Nice layout. Greens were in good shape
