Food is always GREAT!!! However i believe when they answer for a call in order they should be a little more friendly. I have been in customer service for many years including the restaurant industry. I feel very strongly in good customer service ,even if you are speaking over the phone and not in person. The woman i spoke with was very matter of fact ,and it seemed as if she was becoming impatient with me. Perhaps she was busy and had a rush, however this part of the job and should not affect my service however short and simple my order may be. This is very important to me when it comes to customer service. I have always enjoyed the food. I never have time to go there ,and always have someone get the food and bring it to me. This was the first time i have called to place an order myself and was not impressed. Also as i write this review a co worker is picking up the order. I called at 2:20 pm to place the order and they said it would be ready in 20 min. It is now 3:15 and he just called and told me he is still waiting. So 20 min has turned into an hour.
I took a large group here over the holidays and had a wonderful experience. The server was well trained and worked well with the other servers. I had the Greek salad, which was one of the best I've had. My wife and I shared a woodfired bumi Pizza. It was well proportioned and cooked just right. Improvement areas would be at the bar, with a better wine and beer selection. Also the bartender used the wrong tape of glasses for my beer and my wife's red wine.
I live over 135 miles from Deano's, so coming here again for a meal isn't a simple drive. Just happened to be driving through the area tonight and decided to stop in for dinner. Deano's had not changed. Quick and courteous wait staff, delicious food that came out fast and hot.
appetizers to main dishes - all excellent. Oh yeah - don't forget dessert and a nice wine list.
Over a year ago, I met my daughter and her family at Deano's Italian Grille for lunch. I had never eaten there, but it sits half way between my house and my daughter's.I had their shrimp and grits. Delicious and such a large portion for lunch. The cheesy stone ground grits were creamy and simply wonderful.
Fresh ingredients and a chef who knows what he is doing.
One of my all time favorite restaurants! Perfect for lunch meeting or date night and everything in between. Great atmosphere and service, plus it's owners are local and just all around good people. Some of my favs are steak regina, horseradish crusted salmon, Hawaiian pizza, and Greek salad.
I had the Spiedano, which is light breaded jumbo shrimp and scallops over gratin potato and spinach. Finished the meal with creme brulee and a great cup of coffee.
I am not trying to be a hard tail and this may not be a common thing. It just happens to be my first experience personally and i was not impressed. Great Food!!! Customer service not so great!!!
