GREAT seafood and the owner is a really nice guy. The waitress on our last visit wasn't nice at all, actually was quite rude but she did get our order right and got it out quick.
Liked the atmosphere. It felt like being in family's home. Food was good. Some of our food was a little overcooked and salty, but the plates will definitely get you full. Little expensive for my taste but it's something I'd recommend
Traveling from out of town with friends, we were glad to see a new restaurant in downtown Dublin. It must have been awhile since the last time we passed thru. Food: So many choices, we decided on the Crawcake and Sweet Potato Fries.
It is good the food is like a home cooked meal and freshly caught , if you like a seafood meal and it's home cooked then you will like this place it is a little expensive , but it has friendly Service and great atmosphere !!!! I recommend it for sure!!!!
Been to Jack's many times. Its been there for years. As a seafood snob I vouch they could hold there own surf side. Always fresh, hot and tasty.; but it is nothing fancy. No flounder amandine here. Just simple, basic Southern fish done right. Their prices are very reasonable. If you want cheap, may I suggest Capt X's. I gave them 4 stars because they need more stuff on the block walls to absorb the noise. (This place gets packed because it good.) They also need more wait staff. Those ladies are quick and efficient. They have no time to sit around and chit chat, so don't confuse this with rudeness. Jack's Catfish & Shrimp is definitely a diamond in the rough.
